One of the veteran staffers, Lydia's nickname on the team is "mom" and was a 1st team All-Conference Outside / Middle Hitter at Wooster. Her motherly skills come in handy at camp. She completed her English degree and Early Childhood Education Endorsement in 2017 and spent the year as a long term sub at Kean Elementary. Lydia is an outstanding teacher of the game, and loves coaching campers. Lydia went to Fredericktown High school and played for CVA volleyball club.
A camp veteran Ksenia is an outside hitter on the Wooster Varsity Volleyball Team. She is a Nueroscience graduate with an emphasis in Biochemistry. She is originally from Media, Ohio and attended Medina High School. She played for Maverick and Buckeye Fire Volleyball Clubs. Ksenia's calm demeanor on the court and compassion in the dorms makes her an outstanding camp staffer. She will start physical therapy school at Clevland State in the spring.
A camp staff veteran that goes way back, Natalie has been the co-head coach for the Cleveland Volleyball Club’s nationally qualifying 16-18 black teams. Natalie brings extensive coaching experience to camp and has coached for CVC and Wooster High school. She was a standout outside hitter at Walsh University and Wooster High School. Natalie is middle school teacher and 8th grade volleyball coach in the Wooster City Schools. We are thrilled to have Natalie’s expertise back for yet another summer.
Maggie is a graduate of Akron University with a masters degree in Social Work. She is a veteran camp staffer, experienced nanny and has many years of club volleyball coaching experience from the Kidron Volleyball Club. Maggie has been an assistant varsity coach at Triway High school, and joined her sister Kelley on the College of Wooster team as an outside hitter in the 20012 season. Maggie is an exceptional teacher of the game.
Eva is a returning staffer who played club volleyball for Dayton Juniors and Northmont High School. Eva has played Outside, middle, and defensive specialist for the Fighting Scots. She has experience coaching clinics and camps with Dayton Juniors. Eva’s enthusiasm and hardwork are such an asset to camp. She is a Chemical Physics major who hopes to pursue a degree in Engineering.
Taylor is a 2018 grad of The College of Wooster and an outstanding setter. Being the daughter of a coach Taylor has been attending camps all her life and spent many summers working camps and training setters in her local area of Dover, Ohio.
Amherst Steele High School, Southwest Volleyball Club. Gab is a biology major and defensive specialist for the Fighting Scots. Gab is the loudest player in the Wooster gym and certainly will keep campers laughing.
Cardinal Mooney High School and Infinity Volleyball Club. McKenzie is a communications major and trained as an outside, rightside, and defensive specialist for the Fighting Scots. McKenzie is a lefty and has so much versatility on the court. She has experience as a 3 year Advanced Camper.
Coach Bou is an assistant coach at The College of Wooster. She has many years of NCAA coaching experience and was named the 2015 National Assistant Coach of the Year. She has led the USAV High Performance camp and been a long time camp staffer at University of Illinois.
Coach Bos is a volunteer assistant coach for the Fighting Scots and Professor of Political Science at The College of Wooster. She was an outside hitter at the University of MN-Morris. Coach Bos often handles registration and logistics of camp.
Wes Davis - Assistant Camp Director
Wes is a member of the College of Wooster Soccer Coaching Staff, husband of Camp Director Sarah Davis. Wes handles all the check in paperwork and all the behind the scenes work to make camp happen.
Back for his 10th year he handles all the testing results, skills grouping and data processing for camp. You will find William at the head table keeping track of scores, match-ups and serving in any capacity needed. He serves as high school line judge in his home state of Iowa. He has been an avid volleyball fan at the high school and collegiate level. William is the father of Coach Sarah Davis and an essential piece to making camp run smoothly.
Ashley Plassard is a returning staff member. Ashley is a middle blocker for the Fighting Scots and an Elementary Education and Art major. She will student teach in the fall. Ashley has been a loyal volunteer to the Montessori School of Wooster in her time on campus. She is from Painsville, Ohio and loves everything about the Eastside of Cleveland.
